Accommodation Opportunities

These charges are in addition to $40 per person Games Registration fee and existing package, including lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Please note coaches and Managers are only charged a registration fee of $25 per person (2 x lunch & 1 hat).


For those attending who are only registering to play and families are seeking their own accommodation please look at the attached TAMWORTH ACCOMMODATION LIST (Tamworth Bunkhouse 0414 361 924) this gives you a complete list of accommodation and ratings in Tamworth.

Residential (Boarding style) Accommodation

Available to teams who book with coaches / teachers. The residential accommodation is offered at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School. Package includes:

  • Dormitory style accommodation
  • Dinner Friday night
  • Dinner Saturday night
  • Breakfast Saturday and Sunday
  • BYO sleeping bag and pillow

Cost $140 per person (all inclusive)

Responsibilities of Team/School Management

All Management must submit WWC check or be employed in the education system to be able to utilise accommodation facilities. We have a minimum staffing of 1 adult to 8 children for accommodation. The responsibility for the behaviour and safety of the students sits with the staff member responsible for them during their stay.

Key Information

Managers Information

All Managers will be sent information in preparation for successful weekend. They will also be able to collect their equipment including tickets and hats at the information tent for each sport on the Saturday morning at the Managers meeting at 8:30am.

There will be an official NPG photographer who will be taking hundreds of action and still shots over the weekend. These will be available for purchase from his site.


For all sports other than Gymnastics, Mountain Biking and Tennis, teams will compete in at least 5 matches that are 12 minute halves with a two minute half time. All teams will play a Final Series at their level to ensure everyone finishes with an exciting game. For example: In Netball there will be 17th vs 18th playoff Final. For information specific to other sports go to the sports page of the website.


Lunch will be provided at all sporting venues. Team management will be presented with tickets at the Managers Meeting on the Friday night.

Games Celebration Function (GCF)

The GCF will be held in the Tamworth Sports Dome. This event is for players and their families and support staff. The GCF includes very special guest Olympians and a number of other high profile entertainers to inspire the children.

Spirit of the Games

There will be no presentation of Awards at each sporting event. There will only be one award given for each sport as this event is experience driven not results focused and this will be sent to the team that is voted to display the ‘Spirit of the Games’

The Spirit of the Sport Certificates will be presented to a team that displays excellent sportsmanship on the field, behaviour off it and will be voted by all team managers, referees and sport convenors.
